Climate Change Levy rates from 1 April 2012

Climate change levy rates for electricity will increase to 0.509 pence per kilowatt hour (kWh) and natural gas to 0.177 pence per kilowatt hour from 1 April 2012 in Great Britain.


(To be precise the actual description for natural gas provided by HM Customs & Excise is "In Great Britain, gas supplied by a gas utility or any gas supplied in a gaseous state that is of a kind supplied by a gas utility.")  

The natural gas CCL rate in Northern Ireland will be 0.062 pence per kilowatt hour from 1 April 2012
