CRC Energy Efficiency League Table

The first league table has been issued by the Environment Agency ranking the 2,103 participants in the CRC scheme.  The league table provides a public record of the performance of these businesses and organisations in reducing their carbon emissions and energy consumption. 

The Environment Agency said around 95% of businesses submitted their first Footprint and Annual Reports within the deadline for the first year of the new scheme - reporting annual carbon dioxide emissions of over 60 million tonnes, more than 10% of the UK's total annual carbon dioxide emissions.
