Newly Discovered Electricity Meter

An electricity company found a meter in a neighbour's basement which fed through a dividing wall to supply part of our client's business premises - and then promptly issued a bill for £57,000 to cover several years' worth of electricity.

This came as an unpleasant surprise to our client, as they were already paying for several electricity meters at their site and did not realise any further charges were due.

So they were delighted when we negotiated a reduced bill of £24,000 for them.
